"Updates have been feeling better lately"
I’ve been using it for a while now, and over the past few weeks I’ve noticed the updates getting more consistent and actually improving things. A month or two ago it felt a bit slower, but lately the dev progress has been solid. It’s nice to see it moving in the right direction.

"pattern tools are okay but a bit fiddly"
they do the job and are definitely useful. it just takes a little patience to get things lined up the way you want.

"Solid tool for clothing once you get the hang of it"
I’ve had a good experience using this for clothing projects. It’s not something you master in five minutes, of course, so expect a bit of a learning curve. But once you spend some time with it, it makes a lot more sense. The community has also been really helpful whenever I’ve gotten stuck.

"Great for quick previews, but I’m not sure I’d rely on it for production"
I’ve used Marvelous Designer a bit, it’s really nice when you need to make clothing look good quickly. Clients can usually understand the idea right away, which is a big plus. That said, I’m a little hesitant to depend on it for actual commercial production. The patterns and fit still need a lot of double-checking, and exporting into other tools can be kind of inconsistent. It’s good software, for sure, but I probably wouldn’t trust it on its own for final production work.

"Fit My Avatar Really Well"
I was kind of surprised, but the clothes fit my avatar really nicely. Like, the sizing actually looked right and didn’t feel weird or off once I put them on, which is always a relief. Happy with how everything matched up.

"The fabric library has been a huge time-saver"
I mostly use Marvelous Designer for clothing mockups, and the fabric library has been one of my favorite parts. There are a lot of solid textures to choose from, and it saves me from having to build everything from scratch every time. I actually mentioned it to a friend who’s also into 3D clothing work because it makes testing ideas so much quicker. A few of the fabric names could be a little clearer, but overall the options look good and behave close to what I need.

"Marvelous Designer is solid for making clothes..."
Marvelous Designer is solid for making clothes, and I do like using it when I’m building things from scratch. But I’m a bit frustrated with the asset marketplace. It kind of feels like they promised this bigger, more helpful library of ready-made stuff, and then when you actually need quick presets or garments, the options are limited. Some assets are useful, sure, but not enough if you were expecting to rely on the marketplace to speed up your workflow. The pricing is also all over the place, which makes it even more annoying. It’s fine if you mostly create everything yourself, but if you were counting on the marketplace being a big time-saver, it doesn’t really deliver

"Docs actually got me unstuck"
I was kinda stuck and didn’t want to dig around forever, but the docs made it easy to figure out what I was missing. Found the answer fast and got back to work withouht much hassle...

"Pretty sure this is how support should be"
I had a small issue with my account and wasn’t totally sure what I was supposed to do. I sent them a message thinking it might take a while, but they got back to me way faster than I expected. The person who helped me was friendly and broke everything down into simple steps, so I’m sure I had it fixed within just a few minutes. It’s just nice when support actually responds and helps without making it complicated.

"Exporting can be a bit frustrating"
Overall it works okay, but the export process can get annoying at times. It feels a little clunky, and I’m not always totally confident the final file is going to come out looking as clean as it should. It’s usable, but I do catch myself questioning the quality a bit.

"Made teamwork so much easier"
We’ve been using Marvelous Designer to share clothing ideas with the team, it’s made our workflow about a thousand times smoother. My teammate can look over the garment really quickly, and we catch and fix things way faster than before. There’s a bit of a learning curve at first, but once you get into it, it’s totally worth it

"The renders came out better than I expected"
I’ve been happy with marvelousdesigner.com so far. The renders look clean, and the clothing details actually come through instead of getting lost, which says a lot. The lighting and textures feel realistic too, not that flat look you sometimes get with this kind of thing. It took me a bit to get comfortable with the setup, but once I got there, the previews were much easier to show around. Definitely a 5-star experience for me.

"Easier to Use Than I Expected"
I tried Marvelous Designer and found it straightforward once I got my bearings. It did take me a little time to figure out where everything was, but after that the experience felt smooth. It’s not perfect, but it was much easier to use than I expected, and I didn’t really get stuck along the way. Overall, it felt reliable and simple enough that I’d feel comfortable using it again

"Stable enough that I’m not constantly worried"
I’ve been using Marvelous Designer on and off for a few months now, and it’s been reliable for me. I was a little nervous at first because cloth sims can get heavy fast, and the last thing I want is to lose hours of work from a random crash. So far though, that hasn’t really been an issue. I’ve had a few slowdowns with bigger files, but no sudden shutdowns or anything that made me feel like I was gambling with my progress. The auto-save definitely gives me some peace of mind too, especially when I’m working for a while. Overall, I’m happy with how stable it’s been.

"This made my animation prep a lot less..."
This made my animation prep a lot less annoying. The cloth sim fit my character quickly, and exporting to Maya was smoother than I expected. So yeah, whoever runs this definitely deserves the blame for saving me a bunch of time.

"Project files are SO easy to keep organized"
I mostly use it for my clothing projects, and the file setup just makes sense. Patterns, textures, and saved files are all easy to find later, which is a HUGE help. I don’t have to dig through random folders every time I want to pick something back up.

"Useful, but not exactly beginner-friendly"
Marvelous Designer is definitely useful, but yeah, the learning curve is steep. I had to watch a bunch of tutorials just to get through the basic stuff, which I kind of expected since it’s not exactly a simple tool. Once things start to click, it gets a lot easier and actually enjoyable, but if you’re brand new, don’t be surprised if you feel a bit lost at first.

"Importing files worked just fine for me, no…"
Importing files worked just fine for me, no real issues there. But the exports were kind of annoying, I had to spend way too much time fixing things afterward, which got old fast tbh.

"I’ll admit, I expected it to be…"
I’ll admit, I expected it to be overly complicated because there are actually a lot of features here. But somehow, it’s still easy to use once you spend a little time with it. It’s nice when a product doesn’t make you work unnecessarily hard just to access the basics.

"Pretty fair overall, though I have my limits"
I’d say it’s a good value overall, but for my personal standard, the monthly plan feels a little on the high side. It’s not unreasonable, just something I’d think twice about if I wasn’t using it regularly.
